Well, actually, the plan is to eat the cold salads I prepared Sunday and Monday with BBQ Chicken that I am cooking in the crockpot today for as long as possible this week. I also have a big batch of Biscotti, Peanut Butter Balls and Cookie bars made.
Then I will take it from there. I am well stocked, so not worried about having things to eat this week.
We received our part of the pig we butchered on Saturday and it was a bit disappointing. He hadn’t gotten fat enough -our employee was not taking the best care of him -so we got no ham or bacon from him. This means I have to come up with Plan B for a Christmas Ham this year. We normally do Roast Beef at Christmas, but I was looking forward to ham, so that is what we’re going to have, one way or another.
